A working meeting was held at the Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic with representatives of Air China Limited, during which the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation were discussed.
The main topic of the meeting was the consideration of an initiative to launch direct scheduled flights on the Beijing - Bishkek - Beijing route, including the possibility of opening an airline representative office in Bishkek.
The Chinese side expressed interest in developing partnership cooperation with the national airline Asman Airlines, including issues related to the expansion of the route network and the exchange of experience in the field of aviation operations.
The parties discussed the procedures for obtaining flight permits, the list of required documents for launching regular air services, the timelines for reviewing applications, as well as interaction with the state and aviation authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to the operation of urgent special flights, the procedures for submitting applications, and the requirements imposed on foreign airlines operating flights to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue consultations on the launch of direct flights on the Beijing – Bishkek – Beijing route, to further expand aviation cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People’s Republic of China, to explore the possibility of opening an airline representative office in Bishkek, and to exchange the necessary information while maintaining ongoing cooperation between the aviation authorities and airlines of both countries.
The development of direct air services on the Beijing - Bishkek -Beijing route will contribute to strengthening business ties, increasing tourist flows, and expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
