As part of the implementation of policies aimed at strengthening the national aviation safety system and enhancing professional capacity, inspectors of the Airworthiness Directorate of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic completed specialized training at the JAA Training Organisation (Amsterdam, Netherlands) under the “Basic Airworthiness Inspector Course” program.
The course is designed to develop the professional competencies of inspectors in accordance with international standards set by ICAO and EASA. The training program covered modern approaches to aircraft certification, continuous oversight of aircraft operators, and supervision of maintenance organizations.
Particular attention was given to Continued Airworthiness, including Part-21 and Part-M requirements, the activities of maintenance organizations (Part-145), licensing and training of aviation technical personnel (Part-66 and Part-147), as well as the functioning of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organizations (Part-CAMO).
Completion of this training has enhanced the inspectors’ professional capacity, strengthened the Agency’s institutional capabilities, and contributes to more effective implementation of state regulation and oversight functions in the field of civil aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
